Now, its a generally a pretty good idea to consult your friends when you are in doubt of your grammar (please don't worry much about idioms), However, it is wise to directly refer to your teacher, (well probably cause they are qualified to teach, duh) then just relying on your friends, regardless of whether they are foreigners or not...
Look, being a foreigner does not neccessarily mean that one will have good knowledge of grammatical patterns or just the English language in general... I can almost guarantee you that because I've been in Australia for quite a while now, and, quite surprisingly, I actually do better in English than most of my Non-Asian friends (given that I'm Chinese and I wasn't born Australia) ... |
